09.Jun.13 Relay coaching workshop for Herts athletes
The Herts County Athletic Network held a Relay Coaching Workshop where successful coach Simon Duberley, ably assisted by NCDP colleague Peter Griffiths, delivered an outside classroom presentation to coaches, teachers and athletes on the theory of running successful sprint relays and coaching the push-pass handover.

04.Jun.13 Herts Network Come and Try series kicks off for 2013
Following a long cold and dull winter, Herts County Athletic Network held our first “Come and Try” day this year on a chilly but dry, bright and sunny Sunday at Jarman Park, Hemel Hempstead. Again the hugely successful event involved the development of coaches, and athletes and included courses to qualify Field and Timekeepers.

12.Mar.13 Final South Parallel Success Coach and Athlete Talent Introduction Day
On Saturday 9th March the final event in the series of Parallel Success Coach and Athlete Talent Introduction Days took place in the South. The event was held at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre and was organised by England Athletics in partnership with British Athletics.

04.Mar.13 Learn to coach leg amputee runners: 10th February
The 4th in a nationwide series of practical and theory workshops for both coaches and leg amputees will be taking place in Chelmsford on 9th March.

20.Feb.13 Newmarket Joggers achieve Clubmark Accreditation
Newmarket Joggers have become the latest athletics club in Suffolk to achieve England Athletics Accredited Club Status. Through completion of the accreditation the club have demonstrated excellent practice in a number of areas of club development.
