The gloomy weather was lifted in Bath on the weekend by the young athletes of North Somerset Athletics Club (NSAC). The team were competing at Bath University for the penultimate event in the Gwent League cross country season.

11.Jan.13 Olympic Stars support the EA SW Cross Country Championships 2013
Olympic distance athletes Jo Pavey (5k and 10k) and Chris Maddocks (5 time Olympian in race walking) were among the supporters at the recent England Athletics South West Club & County Cross Country Championships 2013. This year the event was held in the picturesque grounds of Bicton College in East Devon.

Three South West region clubs have achieved Clubmark accreditation recently and by achieving England Athletics ‘Accredited Club’ status, Wimborne AC, Poole AC and Poole Runners are nationally recognised as providing an ‘active, accessible and accredited’ club environment.
