Team Bristol (representing the South West) proudly took silver at the UK School Games in Gateshaead last week. Team Bristol Athletes come from the 11 counties of Avon, Cornwall, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Devon , Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, Sussex, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

First they stopped off in Brussels to watch the Van Damme International a diamond league match including the likes of Tyson Gay, Dai Greene, Allyson Felix, Jenny Meadows and Jemma Simpson, Tom Lancashire and Steph Twell

Aspiring wheelchair racer Chloe Ball Hopkins has been selected for ‘Pimp My Chair’ and will be filmed later today (Tuesday) for Channel 4’s That Paralympic Show with the episode being aired later in the current series.

Three workshops covering the broad themes of ‘Planning’, ‘Running form and biomechanics’ and ‘Transitioning training from winter to summer’ will be delivered through the winter nationwide. These three workshops will be taking place in the South West.
