Claremont Runners (part of the NOTAN Athletics Network) recently launched their Huffers and Puffers Running group.

06.Jul.11 Junior Beach Races 2011
Blyth Running Club recently held their annual beach races and just under 100 children took part. Sponsors CE Electric's mascot “Vic Voltage” was in attendance to start the races and warn the children about the dangers of electricity.

On a quiet Thursday evening in Morpeth, over 30 athletes and coaches from the Northumberland McCain Athletics Network gathered to hear from 3 of the region’s most elite endurance people.

15.Mar.11 Network Endurance groups get into condition
In a follow up to the very successful regional endurance event held in late November, last week over 25 coaches and athletes from the County Durham Athletics Network were treated to a session around physical preparation and conditioning related to endurance athletes by Julie Twaddle.

The Road Running Seminar due to be held on Wednesday 1 December from 6.30pm – 9pm at Durham County Cricket Ground, Chester-le-Street, has been cancelled due to weather conditions.We will reschedule it and annoucne a new date in due course.
