28.Oct.11 First Sportshall Leaders day and Competition held

On Tuesday 18th October Kevin Hill from Sportshall delivered a day of Sportshall at Norham Community Technology College. This consisted of leaders training with 14 Year 10 students throughout the morning followed by a primary school competition in the afternoon.
17.Oct.11 Birtley AC have most successful Junior North Run

Birtley Athletics Club most successful Junior North Run to date - no fewer than 4 podium placed athletes in their respective age groups.
13.Oct.11 Elite athletes visit Gateshead

The day before the Great North City Games 2011, where Team GB&NI took on Team USA, forty children, three club coaches and three school teachers all received a sprinting masterclass from an England Athletics Coach mentor.
05.Oct.11 A great end to the summer activities for NOTAN

NOTAN saw its final summer grand prix competition on the 3rd September, finishing in time with the end of the summer weather. It proved to be a great day and a finish for the summer season with a total of 23 athletes attending and over 50 athletes signed up over the series.
