12.Mar.13 North Shields Poly athlete successes over the weekend
Sprinter Jenny Graham led the way for North Shields Poly at the North Eastern Counties' Athletics Association Indoor Championships at Gateshead Stadium. A number of other athletes placed well, while at the North Eastern Counties Royal Signals Road Relay Championships there were also successes.

07.Mar.13 BMC 800m and 1500m race series announced
Next month sees the start iof the 2013 series of North East Regional Races held by the British Milers' Club. This is a great opportunity for middle distance athletes to race locally in competitive seeded races; all events held at newly refurbished track at Maiden Castle, Durham.

04.Mar.13 Time To Listen workshop: 13th March
An athletics-specific safeguarding training workshop targeted specifically at volunteers in a club welfare role will be held in Gateshead on 13th March. It builds on basic awareness and focuses on implementation in the club environment.

20.Feb.13 Rescheduled Triple Jump LCDP workshop with Peter Stanley: 2nd March
We are delighted to inform you that the Triple Jump LCDP workshop with National Coach Mentor Peter Stanley has now been rescheduled. The new date of the workshop is Saturday 2nd March and it will take place at Gateshead College Academy for Sport.
