Regional and National Volunteer Awards
The 2012 England Athletics Regional and National Awards provide a unique opportunity to recognise the outstanding contributions made to our sport by these people who give their time, energy and expertise on a voluntary basis.
Who is it who has helped you in your athletics or made a difference to your club? Behind any successful performance are numerous people who have given their time and effort to help the athlete on their way.
The England Athletics Volunteer Awards allow us to officially recognise them for their work in London and also at a national level - winners are chosen in 14 categories, at both regional (London) level and could then also gain recognition at national level.

Hall of Fame
The England Athletics Hall of Fame was launched in 2008 with a panel of experts selecting a list of potential inductees for athletics fans and members of the public to vote on.
The Hall of Fame honours those who have made an outstanding contribution to the sport of athletics in England.
Each year the public is able to vote on a shortlist of Athletes, Coaches or other Greats who have been put forward for voting by our panel of experts who include gold medallist Darren Campbell MBE, commentator Paul Dickenson, respected athletics journalist Mel Watman, Athletics Weekly's Jason Henderson, and George Bunner who is a long standing board member of the AAA and the creator of Sports Hall Athletics. Shortlisting is based on contribution to the sport of athletics as well as performance. Nominees must have been retired for a minimum of five years.
As well as voting you can of course buy tickets for the evening. At the England Athletics Awards Night you will get to see some of our finest athletes and coaches and athletics greats of all time gathered to see who is inducted into the Hall of Fame plus the volunteers who take home our National Awards.
It is an event where the top names in the sport and the people whose hard work form the bedrock of Athletics in England join together to share in celebrating our sport's successes.
