England Athletics is pleased to announce speakers for the 2012 South Coaching Conference which takes place on Saturday 29th September at Lee Valley Athletics Centre. We are delighted to have attracted a number of excellent speakers, all of whom are experts in their field and understand the development needs of clubs coaches.
Rob Thickpenny
Level 3 Performance Coach (Jumps) honours degree Sports Science and England Athletics National Coach Mentor for Physical preparation.
Michaela Breeze
Teaches Physical Education, coached 13 athletes to international level.
Sarah Russell
Masters degree in Sport Science, 20 years experience in coaching, qualified running coach (CiRF).
Graham Ravenscroft
25 years of Coaching experience, UKA level 4, IAAF Level 5 Elite Coach Diploma. England Team Manager and the Great Britain Junior & U23 Team Jumps coach.
Job King
Disability Athletics Support Officer for the Midland & South West. He has worked with the Warwick Endurance Academy to launch a Wheelchair Racing Academy in July 2011.
Martin Rush
National Coach Mentor for England Athletics for Walks and Endurance. coached and performance managed athletes through various professional and volunteer roles within the sport.
Ed Baker
Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach with Performance Hertfordshire, Masters Degree in Strength and Conditioning.
David Millett
Head Coach - Development at Marshall Milton Keynes AC (MMKAC). Level 3 Coach in Development (Coaching Young Athletes) and Performance (Sprints & Hurdles). on the National Coach Development Programme for Youth Development
Pete Faulkner
Strength and Conditioning coach, designer of the FKPro and cofounder of the company.
Clarence Callender
England Athletics National Coach Mentor for Speed, started coaching seriously in 1992 while still serving in the Forces and soon acquired a very large training squad with fellow coach Donovan Reid.
