The Nottinghamshire Athletics Network is promoting a series of 1 mile and 5k races on the track at Bingham on Thursday 6th September.  These races are specifically aimed at road runners, particularly those who may NEVER have run on a track before.
 
The target audience for these races are runners who take part in the summer road race leagues, open road races, fun runs and park runs.   The races will be graded to allow for all standards. Runners will be able to pick which race they want to run in.   This is an ideal opportunity for runners to get an accurate time for running either 1 mile of 5k. All runners will be given a recorded time.
 
Entries are being taken by Derek Poole from Holme Pierrepont Running Club. No formal entry form just an email to Derek at rushcliffeac@virginmedia.com with runners estimated time are all that is needed. Come on have a go. Runners can enter both 1 mile and 5k races if they wish.
 
Runners need to turn up at least 20 mins before the start time of their race to collect race number and pay entry fee of £2.
