08.Jun.12 Club Development – Sharing Good Practice

England Athletics are pleased to distribute a copy of the document: Club Development – Sharing Good Practice.

This document has been compiled by staff across the south team with the assistance of clubs and Networks.

It features over 150 different examples of good practice across a wide range of areas including Volunteer Recruitment, Competition, Road Running and many more.

This is not an exhaustive list and we know there are many other elements of good practice and innovative projects being delivered across the area but it would be almost impossible to capture everything. We do hope, however, that these examples will assist you by providing ideas when you are planning your future development or when trying to identify options to solving a problem (e.g. recruiting more volunteers).

If you wish to find out more information about any of the examples contained within the document please contact your CCSO in the first instance, rather than approaching the club directly. We aim to produce updates to this document so if you have an example that you would like to see included or think that other clubs would find interesting, please let us know. It does not necessarily have to be under the same headings and we can focus on other areas of club development, if requested.

The document has been produced in a print-friendly format should you wish to produce your own hard copy.  Click here to download it or go to the very bottom of this page.  We hope you enjoy reading this document.
