The newly formed Zero to Hero group registered with Run England is going from strength to strength. The group has over 55 members on Facebook which over 20 who regularly run on a Sunday.  The group is increasing in popularity and  there is a growing number of ‘newbies’ on a Friday which only started on the 18th May.
 
The group was set up by Steve Atherton and a friend. Steve is a Leader in Running Fitness and is in the final stages of completing his Coach in Running Fitness qualification.  In addition to the formal coach education training Steve is receiving valuable one to one mentoring support and guidance from Dave Dix, National Coach Development Programme Mentee and Head Coach at the CSW Athletic Network.
