03.May.12 School Athletics Conferences - building the legacy
We've got a great line-up of speakers and workshops at our two interactive Conferences for the school sport fraternity.
Keynote speakers are Olympic and Commonwealth Athlete and Newly Qualified Physical Education Specialist Stuart Stokes (North) and for the South listen and learn from Tony Hadley: Elite athletics coach, England Athletics National Coach Mentor, former PE teacher and Director of Performing Arts College.
All bookings received will also go into a draw for 4 tickets to the England Athletics National Volunteer Awards and Hall of Fame 2012 gala event in October. This is a great chance for those of you who work with sports stars of the future to meet sports stars of the past and present and deserving volunteers within the sport!
The interactive conferences will provide delegates with a range of practical information on delivering athletics for schools – both within the curriculum and out of hours – and will show how athleticism can enrich the physical education experience for the whole school and help to boost the participation of young people in sport generally.
A brand new cross-curricular resource will also be launched. So make your booking soon - closing dates are getting nearer!
