Huntingdonshire AC have successfully renewed their England Athletics Accredited Club status. A presentation was made at a recent training session by their CCSO James Cudmore to Chair Mike Hayball and Coach Penny Butcher, who led on the re-accreditation process.

The club used the process as an ideal opportunity to review and refine some of the club’s processes and procedures. They also surveyed their coaches to ascertain their development needs with regards to coaching disabled athletes and completed the Inclusive Club Health Check.

James Cudmore commented: “from visiting the club, speaking to coaches, parents and athletes it was very evident that the club is very well managed. Good coaching provision, competition and communications are backed up by sounds policies and procedures that ensure a safe and enjoyable training environment.”
