Third of its kind and first this year, the Essex Athletics Network's newsletter is now available online (hard copies also available from the Network - contact Network Activator Tony Benton: tony-benton@ntlworld.com).

The newsletter coincides with the half-way mark through the three-year Essex Athletics Network project and lets everyone know what's been going on locally and to share their successes and best practices with others.

New Network Volunteer Coordinator Hayley Pegg is introduced, there's information on the Network’s Sportshall, Athletics 365 and QuadKids programmes and Winter Competition round-up.  Chelmsford reports on its Clubmark accreditation and there's an update on other members of the network too.

Three more coach education workshops, taking the total to six, have been held in recent months and you can read all about them and the upcoming Try Athletics Day tomorrow (Saturday 14th April), plus other important dates for your diary.
