On 9th January 2012 London 2012 will only be 200 days away so it will be time to shout about our sport and the volunteers that make it happen. England Athletics is aiming to promote the Volunteer Initiative and ‘Are you ready?’ campaign through a media push on a national scale and we want you the networks and clubs to join us.

Media interest will be high at this point and we must be ready to take advantage of this.

We are asking you the clubs and networks to think how you can promote volunteering in your local area. Can you get an article in your local paper, posters in local schools and community centres? This increase in promotion of your club as a whole and particularly volunteers can only be a good thing and is vital to seize the opportunity London 2012 presents.
