10.Dec.09 Jeff Adams to host wheelchair racing summit
Jeff Adams, Canadian Paralympian and a six-time world champion, is hosting a wheelchair racing summit. He has competed at six consecutive Summer Paralympics from 1988 to 2008, winning a total of three gold, four silver, and six bronze medals. The 2 day event for both coaches and athletes will take place on 30th to 31st January 2010 and sessions will include glove
building, tactics, wheelchair set up, sitting position, maintenance,
training advice.
The event will enable the development of wheelchair racing in the UK to take place more effectively. If you are a wheelchair racing coach or a coach who would like to get involved you are encouraged to sign up. There will be opportunity to share good practice, engage with other coaches and develop skills and expertise.
