News from England Athletics in the North West

26.Oct.12 North West region award winners caught on film

The North West Regional Awards took place on Monday 9th October at Westhoughton Cricket Club, Bolton with 50 volunteers and guests in attendance. Expertly compered by regional chair Mike Harris, and with presentations made John Crotty (NCM horizontal jumps), Craig Blain (Run England North Coordinator) and Lucy Archer (Interim North Team Leader), the evening was a celebration of success and dedication to the sport.

You can also now view footage of winners and their peers and nominators explaining why they won.  You can also see the videos in our EA-TV section, under "Hall of Fame", along with film of our annual national Hall of Fame and Volunteer Award evenings.  The 2012 Hall of Fame takes place tomorrow Saturday and we'll have citations, and news online on the night and videos up next week.
