Lindsay Hole of Dorset Athletics Network and Mike Furse of Dorchester Athletics Club attended the Hall and Woodhouse Community Chest Grant Awards evening. 

Dorchester AC were awarded £500 which is a real achievement as out of 240 applicants only 26 were successful in receiving any kind of funding award.
Lindsay and Mike were invited to a lovely evening of celebrations with brewery tour and buffet!

The £500 will help pay towards a new discus area at the club which will also be suitable for disabled athletes.
