England Athletics are pleased to announce the West Midlands Local Coach Development Programme Coach Development Days.  Each day will start with a session on Physical Preparation suitable for all event groups, and then continue with individual Event Specific sessions incorporating the fundamental and key elements vital for the development of all athletes.

The dates of the series are as follows:

• Saturday 13 October 2012: Speed, Shot & Discus, Javelin, Long & Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
• Saturday 17 November 2012: Speed, Endurance, Shot & Discus, Javelin, Long & Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
• Saturday 2 March 2013: Speed, Shot & Discus, Javelin, Long & Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault

All sessions will take place at Birmingham High Performance Centre, Alexander Stadium, and will be led by experts in their fields, including High Jump National Coach Mentors Denis Doyle and Graham Ravenscroft, and National Coach Development Programme High Jump Coaches Paul Harrison and Deirdre Elmhirst, Speed expert Mike Bennett, Pole Vault coach Christian North, Javelin with David Parker, and Long & Triple Jump led by Femi Akinsanya.
