28.Feb.11 Calderdale network to host event development days
Calderdale Athletics Network are hosting a number of event development days in March. This includes a Planning for Juniors workshop and an Endurance festival weekend with are free places available for interested coaches to observe and participate in England 14 -16 Fell & Mountain development squad and West Yorkshire Endurance squad training.

at the Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club. -

The second in the series of Y&H Speed, Jumps and Throws Coach Development Day resulted in coaches being enthused and given the motivation to continue and take advantage of future workshops.

05.Feb.11 Carnegie celebrates Wilf Paish
A celebratory dinner to honour one of athletics’ best known coaches is to be held in Leeds in March. It will commemorate Wilf Paish who sadly passed away at the start of last year. Yorkshire-based Paish was coach of Sanderson and Mick Hill with more than 100 of the athletes under his guidance becoming Olympians.
