Leading coaches will pass on tips and advice at a development workshop on the 27th November at EIS in Sheffield. Coaches on the National Coach Development Programme will lead sessions which aim to help coaches get the best out of their athletes.

27.Oct.11 Celebrating the unsung heroes at Yorkshire & Humber Regional Awards!
This fantastic evening celebrated the clubs, coaches and volunteers that make athletics one of the top sports in the county in terms of participation. This now annual event was a celebration of the support within the region over the last 12 months and also the success of the award winners.

26.Oct.11 Road Traffic Management courses - last ones until next year!
The final two Road Traffic Management courses to be held in the North this year take place this Sunday in Manchester, and in Thirsk on 12th November. The course is being heavily subsidised by England Athletics to assist Road Running organisers with the implementation of Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders.

Lund and Meehan led Ermysted's Grammar School teams to a clean sweep of team victories at the October Keighley & Craven AC Schools’ Cross-Country Challenge.

18.Oct.11 Coach in Running Fitness course - places available!
The pilot Coach in Running Fitness course taking place at Don Valley Stadium on Sat/Sun 29th/30th October 2011, and Sunday 11th December 2011 has only a small number confirmed. If places are not filled by Monday 24th October, regrettably the course will have to be cancelled.
