The 20th November saw 40 coaches from across the Yorkshire and Humberside regions descend on Leeds Met Carnegie for the second in a series of coach development workshops aimed at upskilling endurance coaches across the region on injury prevention and strength and conditioning.

Bradford Athletics Network’s Enhanced Training Sessions have inspired more than 70 adult runners from local clubs over the past two months. Almost 30 sessions across five thematic strands were all led by international-class coaches.

10.Nov.10 Leeds Wheelchair clinics start with a bang
The Leeds Wheelchair racing training and mentoring clinics started with a bang on 6th November 2010. Welcoming beginners through to experienced wheelchair racers, the session catered for people wanting to come and try the sport and provided a training session for athletes now well into their winter training schedules.

The Leeds Athletics Network organised a master class for wheelchair racing at the John Charles Centre for Sport recently. The session was on ‘hard glove building’. The Athletics Network was also privileged to welcome Great Britain Paralympic Athlete, Shelly Woods.
