The young athletes of Kirklees have had a very successful year and have many achievements of which to be proud. These successes were publicised at a region-wide celebration evening recently.

Rotherham Harriers, part of the South Yorkshire Athletics Network have helped to organise a successful third schools cross country championship event and identify promising young athletes - which has inspired fellow network partner Doncaster AC to follow suit in their local area.
