Regional teams from all over the country went to London to take part in the London Mini Marathon along side the main marathon event. It was an amazing event and all the athletes performed well over the 3 mile course.

2009 saw 220 Officials from all over the country and from a good section of disciplines gather in Solihull for a day to attend workshops, hear about the latest developments in athletics and officiating, and engage in valuable networking opportunities.

29.Apr.09 Excellent results for all six South East Regional teams at London Mini Marathon 2009
The South East Regional Teams secured no less than two 1st places, three 2nd places and 5th place in a race that was only separated by eleven points between first and fifth. Individually we had 15 athletes finish in the top ten of their respective races and 24 in the top 20.

Saturday 25 April saw a gold level U20 and Senior 5K and 10K track race held at Birmingham University, supported by UKA and the British Milers Club.
