Michelle Ross-Cope, City of Stoke set a new course record in 72:34 in the ladies race. A keenly fought race in the men’s championships saw Mark Miles of Belgrave Harrier break away to win in 64:11 ahead of Andi Jones (Salford Harriers).

The finals of the London Secondary Schools Sportshall finals have taken place at Clissold Leisure Centre, Hackney. The culmination of many months of local competition within the Schools Sports Partnerships and then the area/ sub-regional finals, the London Sportshall League has seen over 7000 participants take part in the competitions this year.
