On Monday 12th July, the South Yorkshire Athletics Network was officially launched at the EIS in Sheffield. The Network Comprises 5 local clubs: City of Sheffield, Doncaster AC, Hallamshire Harriers, Rotherham Harriers and Wombwell Sporting AC.

As part of the National School Sports Week, Bristol&WestAC and the Avon Athletics Network joined with the Teaching Staff of City Academy in central Bristol and the local School Sports Partnership to provide two days of athletics coaching to over 300 children from six local schools.
