Earlier this month the North of Tyne Athletics Network (NOTAN) held a successful talk on ‘winter to summer transitional training for middle and long distance athletes’ with the key speaker David Lowes.

Two free Local Coach Development Programme regional workshops are taking place in the North East this Saturday and there are a few places remaining. "High Jump - a practical and theoretical approach" (Graham Ravenscroft), and "Recovery and Regeneration" (Penny Macutkiewicz and Paula Hynd).
