Soaring temperatures couldn't halt Kate Avery scorch to a magnificent silver medal at the European Junior Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia. However, while it was silver service for the Shildon runner the quartet of Gateshead Harriers who made the Aviva GB and NI team, it was disappointment for others.
