26.Jan.10 Entries now open for Disabled and Deaf Athlete NW Championships 2010

Entries are now open for the Regional Athletic Championships For Disabled and Deaf Athletes 2010 which will be held on Saturday 24th April, at Sportcity Athletics Stadium, Manchester.
21.Jan.10 NW technical officials receive their England Athletics awards

North West England technical officials Tony Reilly and David Brown were recently presented with their England Athletics regional awards for Official of the Year and Services to Officiating.
19.Jan.10 Altrincham & District AC awarded Clubmark accreditation.

As a result of gaining their Clubmark, Altrincham & District AC have already attracted 5 new level 1 coaches. They are sharing their knowledge and experience from the process, and are expanding their club development work with the Greater Manchester East McCain Athletics Network.

We regret to announce that due to the adverse weather conditions the Greater Manchester County Cross Country Championships due to be held at Woodbank Park, Stockport on 10 January have been cancelled for this year.

Kenneth Moss died over the christmas period at his home in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire at the age of 58.
