As a result of coaches and athletes making a request to develop their skill and knowledge of the event, Handforth, Alderley & Wilmslow AC recently hosted a shot put flying coach session with Roger Devlin, level 3 shot put coach.

12.Jul.10 Greater Manchester East Athletics Network officially launched
On Sunday 27th June, the Greater Manchester East Athletics Network was officially launched at the DASH Quadrathlon event which was supported by the network. This network comprises 5 local clubs: Altrincham & District AC, DASH AC, Oldham & Royton Harriers, Rochdale Harriers and Stockport Harriers.

The North West Region have announced that their Regional Awards evening will take place on 11th October at Vere White's hotel in Bolton. The Awards recognise the work of clubs, volunteers, officials and coaches, as well as the areas of partnership and disability athletics, and reward contributions and commitment to our sport over the past 12-month period.
