  • 19.Oct.10 SYAN Development Officer starts

    South Yorkshire Athletics Network have successful appointed Ashley Little to the role of SYAN Development Officer.  Ashley will coordinate and manage the delivery of the Network projects, and raise the capability of clubs in the network.

  • 14.Oct.10 A great start to the Y&H endurance winter programme

    The first in a series of three Yorkshire & Humber Endurance Conferences took place at York St John University attracting 30 endurance coaches, providing a great start to the endurance winter programme.

  • 13.Oct.10 Yorkshire and Humber Regional Awards Evening

    Around 40 volunteers and guests gathered at the Wentbridge House Hotel, Pontefract for the Yorkshire and Humber regional awards.  The evening was dedicated to the volunteers within athletics in the region who keep everything going.

  • 11.Oct.10 Humber Road Running Coach Development Programme

    The Humber Athletics Network Road Running Group kicked off their winter coach development programme with a Strength and Conditioning workshop led by David Parker, strength and conditioning coach at Sheffield EIS and a UKA level 4 coach.

  • 05.Oct.10 Leeds Athletics Network provides support to Wetherby Runners

    The Leeds Athletics Network recently supplied Wetherby Runners AC  with new circuit training equipment which is to be used to supplement the Club’s extensive Winter training programme.   The Equipment came from England Athletics to the Leeds Network who have lent it to Wetherby Runners to help with there winter training.  

  • 04.Oct.10 Wheelchair racing training sessions

    A number of wheelchair racing training sessions and "come and try" sessions will be taking place in Leeds over the next few months.  There will be six Saturday afternoons at the John Charles Centre for Sport for athetes to train.
