    The North West Region are holding two half day workshops near Keswick for anyone interested in endurance running, either as a coach, athlete, parent or interested party. They will cover Injury Prevention, Speed, Agility, Quickness, a Core session, and Race Psychology.

    Ask most runners what their goals are and more often than not the answer is to run faster!  In Kent this summer help is once again on hand to help road runners and their coaches who want not only to run faster but also to train smarter.

    07.Jun.11 British athletes do well in South African ultra event

    The Comrades Marathon is an extraordinary back-to-back marathon format race; 18,000 athletes entered the race this year - making it the world’s largest ultra-marathon event.  England Athletics partially funded Lizzy Hawker, Susan Harrison and Ian Sharman to gain valuable experience in major championships.

  • 02.Jun.11 Running leadership training for deaf or hearing impaired leaders

    England Athletics has trained up almost 3000 running group leaders who are now working to deliver running groups to a huge variety of people across the country. As part of our efforts to make leading and participating in athletics accessible to all we are currently looking to find people who would like to be involved in a Leadership in Running Fitness training course with specific provision made for people who are deaf or hearing impaired and would like to lead a running group.
