The national QuadKids athletics concept took on an international flavour as Berkshire’s finest sporting ambassadors from Park House School travelled 6,000 miles to their twinned South African Sithengile High School in Durban and provided a QuadKids event for over 300 school children.

In common with many clubs in the country, flourishing Weston-super-Mare Junior AC do not have a specific athletics facility as their home base. The Avon Athletics Network was very pleased to help organise and support their idea of moving their normal Saturday morning training session to the first class facility at the University of Bath.
