Sophie Kamlish, a single leg amputee coached by Rob Ellchuk, has been selected for the 100m and 200m at the Paralympic World Cup. The 15-year-old is the first track and field athlete identified through Playground to Podium (P2P) to earn a GB vest.

26.Mar.12 Coach Athlete Training Days Sign Off For Another Winter
The last of the six scheduled 300/400 Hurdles Training Days took place on Saturday with the coaches and athletes able to train in glorious sunshine at Lee Valley Athletics Centre. There have been just under 200 athlete attendees at the sessions and just over 50 coaches, a very healthy 4 -1 ratio. -

Sussex and athletics in general have lost a loyal and dedicated servant in the death of Mike Carrington. Carrington, who it is believed had a heart attack while playing golf on Friday 23rd March, was 77 years old,
