Crystal palace was the setting for the 2012 London primary schools finals which featured as part of the 2012 London youth games. Amongst the mass of many activities across different sports and abilities, the whole centre came alive as the Aviva Sportshall London Regional Championships 2012 got underway. 187 promising sports performers from Derbyshire have shared more than £40,000 after each being awarded a bursary from Podium – a scheme to help local athletes in their bid to reach the top.

Deaf UK Athletics’ (DUKA) latest star, Rebecca Zelic won a magnificent Bronze medal at the recent European Deaf Athletics Championships held in Tallinn, Estonia.

An endurance training session for athletes (including a steeplechase session with the water jump) followed by a talk on endurance athletes and coaching from Nick Sculthorpe will be taking place in Bedford on 14th April 2012.
