Endurance sessions for coaches and athletes held by David Turnbull the England Athletics Area Coach Mentor for endurance in the North West in Stockport are building momentum. And more coaches and athletes are being invited to get involved.

The Area Endurance Coach Mentees in the North and East London area recently had their first group session.And it was hill training that the coaches were looking with the athletes present getting stuck into the gradient at Barnet Copthall.

As part of England Athletics Area Coach Mentoring scheme a training session will be held at Leeds Roundhay Park on Saturday 5 December. Coaches and athletes are invited to attend.

A Kent Coach and Athlete Development Day is being held on 6 December with former London Marathon winner Mike Gratton and England Athletics Area Coach Mentor Stella Bandu.

Jim Harvey will be leading an endurance seminar on 9th December at Lee Valley Athletics Centre. Also assisting will be England Athletics' National Coach Mentor Bud Baldaro.
