U17 pole vaulter Nathan Pentin and U15 hurdler Alicia Barrett carried off the coveted 'Athlete of the Year' awards at Chesterfield AC's Annual Awards Presentation Night, when over 170 athletes and supporters attended the event at CFC's b2net Stadium.

15 year old Sanjana Rachel Emmanuel (Rachel) has recently been awarded a £1000 athlete bursary from Accentuate. Rachel is one of many success stories from the national Playground to Podium (P2P) project which aims to identify and support young disabled athletes into sport.
