Ashford Leisure Trust is running a seven week coaching course for young people (aged 14 to 25 years) with a disability. The weekly sessions will provide an introduction to the sport of athletics and activities will include running, jumping and throwing.

An Athletics Talent Introduction Day for Kent athletes is to be held at the the Julie Rose Stadium, Ashford on 24 October 2011. The event is open to disabled athletes aged 11+, including athletes with a physical disability, a sensory disability or an intellectual disability.
