Bicester AC is now a clubmark accredited sports club. They received their award from England Athletics CCSO Amy Frith with Club Chairman Steve Flynn collecting the award on the club’s behalf.

This weekend sees the Aviva England Age Group Indoor Championships take place at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena, and there should be some exciting talent on display as young athletes progress within their age groups or step up into the next level.

With the increased focus on trying to engage the young to take part in physical activity, a Youth Development incorporating Athletics workshop will provide attendees with theory of youth development as well as practical experience and skills to lead Athletics 365 sessions.

21.Feb.12 Tom Pink Relays at NIA: Hall of Happiness
The 6th year of the AAA Tom Pink Memorial Relays and Field Events challenge at the NIA has upheld its reputation for athletics fun – relay races including trying to beat the times of some of our great distance runners - plus events on the field. An event also took place in Sheffield, and there will be a Manchester event in June.

17.Feb.12 NOTAN’s Disability athletics participation and training day
Working together with North Tyneside Council and the athletics networks around the North East NOTAN have developed a disability athletics training group with the first training day held last Sunday 12th February.

14.Feb.12 Love to compete? Age Group champs docs now online
Information and the timetable are now available to download for the England Athletics Age Group Championships for U20, U17 and U15 athletes. The event will be held at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham on 25th and 26th February.
