17.Aug.11 NOTAN's Summer Grand Prix competitions continue to be a success
NOTAN’s (North of Tyne McCain Athletics Network) summer grand prix continued through the summer following a great first event. After the first competition the weather seems to have been on our side with fine conditions for the competitions on the 30th July and 13th August.

15.Aug.11 Disability Athletics Track & Throws Meeting
Kingston and Poly Harriers and AC are organising a disability athletics meeting including 100m, 200m 400m 800m 1500m, seated throws for Shot, Javelin and Discus and ambulant throws for Shot and Javelin. There will be EDM, photofinish and electronic timing.

15.Aug.11 England to be part of DecaNation event
England Athletics are pleased to announce that a team will compete at the DecaNation track and field meeting. The team of 10 men and 10 women will compete against teams invited from China, Jamaica, Russia, USA, Germany, Spain and hosts France, in what promises to be a very competitive end of season battle.

10.Aug.11 Adam Cotton records historic European Junior victory
Adam Cotton produced a stunning performance to record Britain’s first European Junior 1500 metres title in more than three decades in the Estonian capital city of Tallinn.

09.Aug.11 England Athletics U17 and U15 Championships
The England Athletics Under 17 and Under 15 Championships take place in Bedford over the weekend of 20th and 21st August. Documentation for athletes, officials and spectators attending the event are now available.

08.Aug.11 UKSA reveal UK team for Global Games
Today, the UK Sports Association for People with Learning Disability (UKSA) revealed those representing Great Britain at the 3rd INAS Global Games in Liguria, Italy from September 24th - October 4th 2011.
