Many of the countries best distance runners will once again be descending on Sutton Park for the autumn road relay championships. The ERRA are once again organising this autumn's National Road Relay Championships will be held at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield on 16- 17 October.

Cross-country events cater for everyone, from 11 (often younger) to over 70. Courses can be described as ‘multi-terrain without the concrete’, and vary widely from fast and grassy to stiff tests of endurance and sanity! South West region has announced its cross country fixtures for the season.

04.Oct.10 Coaches of all levels given opportunity to hear internationally renowned speakers
Every coach across England is being invited to come together at the England Athletics National Coaching Conferences to interact with world renowned speakers, join in workshops and share their ideas and experiences with fellow coaches.

A number of wheelchair racing training sessions and "come and try" sessions will be taking place in Leeds over the next few months. There will be six Saturday afternoons at the John Charles Centre for Sport for athetes to train.

01.Oct.10 Ron Pickering Memorial Fund - submissions now being taken.
The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund (RPMF) grant application process opens today (Friday 1 October) for 2011. Applications are invited from talented young athletes aged between 15 - 23 years who are in education and may need financial help towards training and provision of equipment.
