A series of flying coaches sessions in the Javelin are currently taking place at Witton Park, Blackburn. The sessions are aimed at coaches to develop their skills and knowledge around this event. Two sessions have already taken place with 8 coaches attending each session.

it seems a long way off - but this winter, athletes in Cumbria are being offered the opportunity of looking to develop their skills in their chosen discipline(s). The sessions are being organised by coaching coordinator Lenny Miller (Level 3 coach), with the support of the Cumbria County Athletics Association.

Nick Anderson and Bud Baldaro are holding an An England Athletics Endurance Coaches Workshop with input from Andy Vernon and Hannah England. Nick and Bud will lead a presentation and discussion on the transitioning of junior athletes into competitive seniors.
