    29.Dec.10 Short Form Athletics Competition for Young People

    England Athletics will be staging three area-level short form competition workshops for networks and any other affiliated club representatives.  The free workshops will be concentrating on QuadKids and Super8, with an Athletics 365 update too.

    The SW Regional Volunter Awards took place on Wednesday 8th Dec at the Southgate Hotel in Exeter – Nigel Rowe, Regional Chair presented the awards to recognise the support within the region over the last 12 months and also the success of the awards winners.

    Over 100 disabled youngsters from across the Lea Valley Athletics Network area and beyond descended on Lee Valley Athletics Centre for what turned out to be a very successful and enjoyable afternoon.

    England Athletics Volunteer Awards recognise the work of clubs, volunteers, officials and coaches, as well as the areas of partnership and disability athletics. They reward contributions and commitment to our sport over the past 12-month period, with a more limited number of lifetime service awards.

    22.Dec.10 New Athletics Coaching & Leadership Workforce Credit Scheme

    The YST have pledged financial support for England Athletics to administer a Workforce Credit Scheme to secure places for identified aspiring coaches and leaders on accredited courses that form part of the England Athletics coaching and leadership education programme.

    22.Dec.10 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Network get to grips with 365

    The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Athletics Network held a workshop on 8th December for their clubs to get to know more about Athletics 365. Twenty coaches representing eight clubs turned out to learn more about this exciting new resource.
