    15 Actionnaires clubs from the North of England attended an action packed day of athletics at the EIS, Sheffield. This event was open to visually impaired children between the ages 4-16 registered within the 15 clubs.

    22.Nov.11 Successful first north Sportshall athletics trials

    North Yorkshire Athletics network held their first Sportshall athletics trials of the year. The morning saw 26 under 11s come and try a variety of Sportshall athletics events, all full of enjoyment and motivation to be part of the 2012 under 11 North Yorkshire Sportshall athletics team.

    Promoted by the Avon Athletics Network, a workshop entitled "Sprints Coaching for Athletes with Cerebral Palsy" is open to all coaches and teachers interested in sprints training and racing.  It is also open to athletes aged 11+ years and classifications T35-T38 with their coach.

    To support the important work of race organisers, to help them to improve the standard of road races across England and ensure that they are being held in compliance of licensing conditions from 1 April 2012 Event Adjudicators will be needed for all licensed road and multi-terrain races.
