England Athletics is conducting a series of surveys to find out the views of people within the sport. This will help us to improve our current services and to develop the sport’s vision for beyond 2012. As part of this process we have launched a specific survey for coaches.

England Athletics are pleased to announce the next in the Masterclass series. The High Jump Masterclass will be in Birmingham on Saturday 20th February and will be led by Dan Pfaff, the new UKA Centre Director for Lee Valley and one of the world’s most respected coaches.

England Athletics are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to fulfil the role of London Head of Coaching who will be responsible for driving the London delivery of the National Coaching Strategy, raising standards of coaching and increasing coaching capacity to meet the expected growth in demand. The deadline for applications is 4pm, Friday 12 February 2010.

Lincolnshire will be hosting four free workshops as part of the Local Coach Development Programme (LCDP) in the coming months. The workshops are for any coach of any event and will most definitely benefit you as a coach and will ultimately benefit your athletes!

25.Jan.10 Advice on completing UKA Level 3 or Level 4 qualification logbook
In 2010 UKA will be launching their new Coaching Qualifications Structure and as a result are winding down the old UKA Levels system. An online resource is now available over on UKA's uCoach website to help with some of the common issues candidates have with completing their logbooks and offer tips about how to successfully complete them.
