29.Mar.12 England Athletics 10k Road Championships - entry open
England Athletics is happy to announce that their 10k Road Running Championships will again be held in conjunction with Bristol City Council. The Run Bristol 10k will be held on Sunday 20 May 2012 at Bristol Harbourside. Closing date for entries is 30th April.

27.Mar.12 British Deaf Athletics World Championships Trials
The closing date for entries to the GB Trials is soon. The trials will determine entries for the Great Britain team for the 2nd World Deaf Athletics Championships which will be held in Toronto, Canada 14-21 July 2012.
Athletes performing well at these championships in Toronto are automatically guaranteed places at the 2013 Deaflympic Games. -

We are pleased to announce plans for the England Athletics Senior Championships and Parallel Success Championships which will include the Area Championships as agreed with the area competition providers and will take place in Birmingham on 2-3 June.

21.Mar.12 Bosworth leads the way for English walkers in Switzerland
Tom Bosworth (Tonbridge AC/Leeds Met; Coach Andi Drake) went to the top of the UK Rankings and to 15th on the UK All Time list when taking a minute and a half of his personal best clocking 1.25.49 in a world class field at the 10th Memorial Mario Albisetti competition in Lugano, Switzerland.

20.Mar.12 Jenny Nesbitt Wins EA West Midlands London Mini Marathon Trial Race
Worcester AC’s Jenny Nesbitt will lead the West Midlands challenge at this year’s Virgin London Mini Marathon on Sunday 22 April after convincingly winning the England Athletics West Midlands Women’s Under 17 Trial race at Stourport Cycleway in a time of 16 minutes 48 seconds by more than two and a quarter minutes writes Tom McCook.
