29.Apr.09 Excellent results for all six South East Regional teams at London Mini Marathon 2009
The South East Regional Teams secured no less than two 1st places, three 2nd places and 5th place in a race that was only separated by eleven points between first and fifth. Individually we had 15 athletes finish in the top ten of their respective races and 24 in the top 20.

On Sunday 26 April, over 40,000 adults start the 26.2 mile challenge around the streets of London. Minutes before, the next generation of young distance runners will be taking up their own challenge in the Adidas London Mini Marathon.

England Athletics (London Region) is once again supporting the annual ‘London Inter Club Challenge’. The LICC is a series of meetings held during each summer in the London area which provide athletes with quality graded competition with electronic timing, photo finish and EDM.

08.Apr.09 Julie Rose Stadium – It’s Business As Usual
Following a month of tenuous talks and threats of closure The Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford, Kent has received support from Ashford Council to enable it to continue running as a fully operational athletics facility.
