24.Dec.12 Indoor Combined Events teams selected in New Year
Teams for the Indoor international Match (Senior, U23, U20) which will take place in Valencia, Spain on 26th and 27th January will be selected on 7th January 2013.

24.Dec.12 Time to Listen - a course for Club Welfare Officers: 6th March
An Athletics-specific safeguarding training workshop will be held on 6th March in Guildford. It is targeted specifically at volunteers in a club welfare role. It builds on basic awareness and focuses on implementation in the club environment.

22.Dec.12 Mini London Wheelchair Marathon: entries open
The Virgin Money Giving Mini London Wheelchair Marathon is the opening event of the Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon. The race is a championship event for young wheelchair athletes all over the UK. Entries now open.

21.Dec.12 English Dwarf athlete wins Greater Sport Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
Record breaking shot and discus thrower Sean Clare has won the Greater Sport Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year. Sean is an F40 (dwarf) athlete who has made some remarkable achievements in 2012. But it has been a year of joys and disappointments for the young man.
