Through an award-winning partnership between the University of Derby Buxton and Derbyshire McCain Athletics Network, the university delivered workshops for coaches and athletes on psychology, strength and stability, and nutrition recently.

One of the Leicestershire Vision 2020 Network main objectives is to get more children into clubs within the Network and to succeed with this aim it is seen as a priority to grow strong links with local schools in each area that the Network covers.

The East Midlands Endurance Coach Mentoring group met for a joint training session and coaches' get together at Mansfield on Sunday 31st October. This was the follow up to the first such session that Area Coach Mentor Paul Blissett had organised in early September
