The same prestigious arena, the same great atmosphere, the same competitive spirit and friendly rivalry. In fact, the only real difference between the AAA Tom Pink Relays and Field Events Challenge and the recent Aviva Grand Prix at the NIA in Birmingham was the age of the competitors!

There are a number of events to get you going in the North East this Spring. The open Indoor pentathlon will take place in March and the outdoor championships in May. If you prefer middle distance, the BMC are holding a series of regional races from May through to the end of August.

The U13 and U15 Sportshall Athletics Regional Event took place at Crystal Palace on Saturday 12th February. Teams from the Newham and South London Athletics Networks contended for the coveted team and All Rounder places at the UK Final.
